Our Partner Agency Network is a coalition of organizations that help distribute food across seven counties in Central Florida. Partner Agencies have an established partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank and provide food to neighbors facing hunger on a regular basis.
What does it mean to be a Partner Agency with Second Harvest? When we mean Partner Agency, we are referring to a nonprofit organization providing food assistance in the form of free meals, snacks, or groceries to neighbors consistently. If starting a feeding program to distribute consistently to our neighbors in need is something that you are interested in starting, you are in the right place!
Organizations may submit an eligibility screening. Our onboarding period is from April 1st to June 1st. Our applications are considered annually during our membership period between April 1st-June 1st.

Minimum Criteria for Prospective Partner Agencies
- Be a non-profit with a 501(c)(3c) Letter of Determination
- Open at least twice a month for Food Distribution.
- Outline their Food Distribution Plan & Budget
- Have locked & secure food storage in a non-residential building.
- Maintain Safe Food Handling Certification.
- Agree to put the well-being of your neighbors first.
Steps for Partnership:
- Submit an eligibility screening
- Prepare for application by gathering all documents
- If approved, complete full application and site review
- Attend orientation & trainings
- Sign MOAs and make the partnership official
